The National Library of Medicine (NLM) hosted a virtual public meeting on April 30, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET using Adobe Connect to discuss the topics of interest identified in the Request for Information (RFI) on ClinicalTrials.gov Modernization and provide opportunities for virtual interaction and clarification of key topics. The RFI responses received and a summary of RFI responses are publicly available on the Meeting Materials page.

The meeting was open to the public and sought to engage sponsors and investigators who submit clinical trial information to the site, as well as patients, families, health care providers, academic institutions, industry, nonprofit and advocacy organizations, government agencies, and others, all of whom can access and use the information on ClinicalTrials.gov.

This public meeting was part of NLM’s overall effort to obtain input on modernizing ClinicalTrials.gov to deliver an improved user experience on an updated platform that will accommodate growth and enhance efficiency. The meeting recording and presentation slides will be available on the ClinicalTrials.gov Modernization webpage within 30 days after the meeting.
